About
I started managing YouTube channels in 2021, while I was finishing my computer science degree at UW-Madison. The first channel I ran went from zero to a million subscribers in five months. I spent the next five years turning shortform into a repeatable system for the Socksfor1 network: pitching ideas directly with the creator, writing, editing, filming on-site, and reading analytics to figure out what actually works.
My degree still gets used. When production needed tooling, I built it: Premiere plugins that automate multicam cuts, and a research app for comparing retention across videos. I like problems where content and engineering meet.
I'm based in Charlotte, NC. I'm looking for a content team that wants someone who can own shortform end to end, or a software team that wants an engineer who understands audiences from the inside.
Let's talk.
Hiring for a content team or an engineering team? I'd love to hear about it.
